Customer Success Intern (Lagos)

About the role

FlexiSAF, a technology company focused on teaching and learning solutions for educators, students and parents, is looking for a Customer Success Intern in Lagos. The intern helps build the customer pipeline by connecting with prospects, identifying opportunities and supporting sales efforts. The internship is paid, with a monthly allowance of N50,000 to N70,000, and is a hybrid arrangement with both remote and onsite conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day customer tier 1 ticket queries using ticketing tools such as Zoho Desk or Freshdesk, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key client contacts to provide excellent customer service.
• Learn about client business challenges and how FlexiSAF's services can help solve them.
• Liaise with other internal teams to address and resolve client queries and business challenges.
• Track the progress of customer inquiries and escalate unresolved issues so they are resolved in time.
• Contribute to internal documentation and help teammates handle technical and relationship issues professionally.

Required profile

• First degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service (NYSC) by the date of application.
• 0-1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the SaaS products industry.
• Great communication skills, especially in writing customer emails and responding to inquiries.
• A problem-solving mindset, able to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
• Proactive attitude, a desire to learn and grow in customer support and success roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
