Customer Service Specialist – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Customer Service Specialist to join our e‑commerce team in Karu, Abuja. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, using a variety of channels to promote our products and drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Close sales by applying diverse marketing techniques and engaging customers via WhatsApp, phone calls and email.
• Build rapport, listen actively and understand customer needs to recommend suitable products.
• Become familiar with our product distribution network and inventory management systems.
• Generate new leads through cold‑calling and nurture existing relationships.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to maximise satisfaction.
• Achieve defined sales targets and produce regular status reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline sales processes and share market insights.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Representative (OND qualification acceptable).
• Highly motivated, target‑oriented with a proven sales track record.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Open to feedback and capable of continuous performance improvement.
