About the role
The Teller (Paying/Receiving) works on Maiduguri Road in Damaturu, handling customer financial transactions with accuracy and professionalism. You will be the front‑line contact for deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments, ensuring a smooth banking experience while complying with all bank policies.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments.
- Verify customer identities and transaction details before processing.
- Count cash accurately and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Issue receipts, cheques and payment confirmations to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve basic transaction issues.
- Detect and report suspicious or fraudulent transactions.
Required profile
- OND Upper Credit (minimum qualification).
- Applicants must be 27 years old or below.
- Previous experience in banking, cash handling or customer service is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and cash‑handling abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with banking software.
