Creative Video Editor for Social Media & Digital Campaigns

About the role

NaijaTraffic is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Video Editor to transform raw footage into compelling visual content that captures attention and drives engagement across social media, websites, digital advertising and client campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Edit high‑quality videos for social media, YouTube, websites, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Create short‑form videos, reels, TikToks and promotional content.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, sound effects and background music.
• Perform color correction, audio balancing and basic visual effects.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers and marketing teams to bring concepts to life.
• Maintain brand guidelines, organize video assets and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to craft storytelling, pacing and visual composition.
• Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
