Crane Manager

About the role

Odixcity Consulting is seeking an experienced Crane Manager to oversee its fleet of heavy‑duty cranes across Port Harcourt and Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient operations while driving profitability through effective contract management and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a fleet of mobile, tower and crawler cranes, guaranteeing safety and maximum uptime.
• Source, negotiate and close crane rental or sales contracts with industrial clients.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate operators, riggers and maintenance personnel.
• Enforce compliance with Nigerian safety standards and site‑specific protocols.
• Coordinate logistics, maintenance schedules and project planning across both locations.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
• Prepare performance reports covering utilisation, fuel consumption, profitability and incident metrics.
• Ensure all regulatory permits, insurance and load‑test certifications are current and valid.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Structural preferred).
• Minimum 4 years experience managing heavy‑duty cranes (≥100‑ton capacity).
• Proven track record in sourcing and closing crane rental or sales deals.
• Strong leadership, conflict‑resolution and decision‑making abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Port Harcourt and Lagos with regular travel between sites.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 400,000 to NGN 600,000 per month
