Country Operations Technical Project Advisor I

About the role

The Country Operations Technical Project Advisor I will support the design, implementation and adaptation of the Delivering Innovation in Self‑Care (DISC) project across multiple countries. Working remotely, the advisor will translate guidance, train partners and ensure quality of care, quality assurance and demand generation approaches are effectively applied.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of technical activities, including innovative approaches in quality of care and demand generation.
• Oversee specific project deliverables to ensure timely completion and compliance with PSI quality standards.
• Provide technical assistance and training to build capacity of project staff, partners and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular field monitoring, analyze performance data, and recommend adaptations to the workplan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree (e.g., MPH, MSc) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in family planning or self‑care contraception programs.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical assistance, develop tools and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent judgement skills in a multi‑stakeholder environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with quantitative or qualitative data analysis software.
