Country Operations Manager

About the role

HFM, a multi‑asset broker operating across Nigeria, is looking for a Country Operations Manager to oversee daily activities in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, high service standards and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across all Nigerian offices, driving consistency and performance.
• Provide direction, coaching and accountability to department heads, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Simplify, automate and continuously improve business processes to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, operational projects and business priorities.
• Monitor operational and commercial KPIs through dashboards and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, cost efficiency and overall business performance.
• Partner with commercial leadership to optimise client acquisition, activation, conversion and retention.
• Oversee client onboarding, KYC, payment operations and operational support.
• Manage office administration, facilities, procurement and vendor relationships.
• Implement risk controls and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑site operations in a financial services or brokerage environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Track record of driving operational excellence and process automation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPI data.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
