Cost Accountant / Data Analyst

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Nigeria focuses on cost accounting and data analysis. The successful candidate will prepare and analyse cost information, produce financial statements, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse costs and related financial statements.
• Process journal entries and perform core cost accounting functions.
• Leverage analytical skills to generate actionable financial insights.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to optimise financial operations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in cost accounting and preparation of journal entries.
• Experience analysing and preparing financial statements.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data.
• Solid understanding of core finance and accounting principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA) advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in consulting or training environments is a plus.
