Corporate Relations Manager – Hackathon Sponsorships

About the role

Wale University is seeking a proactive Corporate Relations Manager to drive sponsorships and partnerships for its upcoming hackathon. You will lead outreach to corporations, secure financial and in‑kind support, and align sponsor objectives with the event’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage target companies and partners to build long‑term relationships.
• Lead the full sponsorship lifecycle: pitch, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Coordinate partner requirements, review deal terms, and prepare agreements with internal support.
• Design sponsorship packages (visibility, judging, workshops, branding, recruitment) that match sponsor goals.
• Manage partner communication and ensure deliverables are met during the hackathon.
• Maintain a pipeline of leads, track outreach status, and report progress regularly.

Required profile

• Proven ability to close deals and secure corporate sponsorships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven attitude with a focus on meeting and exceeding fundraising targets.
