Copywriter

About the role

We are looking for a creative Copywriter to join our team in Nigeria. You will translate brand direction and technical information into compelling copy that drives consistency across all communications.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret creative briefs and technical data to develop copy concepts.
• Maintain brand consistency across all company communications.
• Manage projects from idea generation through deployment.
• Stay updated on editorial trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to set campaign objectives and solve problems.
• Prepare content calendars and create copy for marketing campaigns.
• Write, review, edit, and update marketing materials.
• Assist the creative team with promotional design concepts.
• Engage with client teams on‑site to ensure content meets their needs.
• Pitch new content ideas aligned with company/client goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or corporate communications setting.
• Strong logic, creativity, and imagination.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Self‑starter with initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
