Cook – Full‑time Kitchen Position in Ikeja

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our food‑service team in Ikeja. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and portion standards.
• Handle ingredient preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to hygiene regulations.
• Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements.
• Monitor stock levels, support inventory control, and report shortages.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Required profile

• Strong culinary foundation with basic cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper ingredient storage.
• Good time‑management and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail in following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen is a plus.
