Continual Improvement Lead

About the role

The Continual Improvement Lead will design and execute a company‑wide CI strategy across production, maintenance, logistics and support functions. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, act as the central point for operational excellence programmes and coach line managers on CI tools and methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive CI strategy, embedding Lean, 5S, Kaizen and Standard Work across all operational areas.
• Lead waste elimination, process mapping and redesign initiatives for intake, milling, packing and dispatch.
• Conduct Gemba walks, root‑cause analyses (5 Whys, Fishbone) and ensure sustainable implementation of improvements.
• Own KPI tracking, reporting and CI dashboards to provide data‑driven insights for management.
• Deploy and sustain CI tools, conduct 5S audits and standardise SOPs.
• Design and deliver CI training, build internal capability and promote employee idea generation.
• Manage CI projects end‑to‑end, monitor ROI and report progress to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Milling Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations or continuous improvement roles.
• Proven track record leading CI or Lean transformation initiatives.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt is an advantage.
