Content & Operations Assistant (Remote, Nigeria)

About the role

The Monago Family, a family, travel and lifestyle content brand, is looking for a Content & Operations Assistant to join its content team. You will help plan content, research ideas, organise production schedules, prepare video editor briefs and keep content moving from planning to publication. The role is fully remote, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM UK time, with full-time availability and a reliable overlap with UK working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Research and recommend content ideas, themes, formats and opportunities
• Develop and maintain a content plan and production calendar, including filming, editing, review and publication deadlines
• Identify filming requirements, key moments and references for upcoming content
• Review raw footage and prepare clear, actionable briefs for video editors
• Research videos, trends and content performance to give insights and recommendations
• Support video titles, descriptions, thumbnail concepts and publication materials
• Coordinate with editors, track progress and check work against agreed briefs
• Organise content files, tasks, feedback, priorities and deadlines, and flag potential delays

Required profile

• Clear, professional communication with excellent written and spoken English
• Highly organised, able to manage several priorities and deadlines at once
• Strong research skills and the ability to turn information into practical recommendations
• Initiative, good judgement, attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Genuine interest in YouTube, digital content and family, travel or lifestyle content
• Reliable, resourceful and interested in growing with the brand long-term

Required skills

• Beneficial: content planning or coordination, digital media or video production support, editorial or research assistance, project or operational coordination, social media or content management, content calendars, production briefs
• Early-career candidates are welcome if they can show relevant skills and initiative

What we offer

• Salary of ₦200,000 to ₦250,000 per month
