Content Marketer

About the role

Bayse is Africa's leading events contract and prediction‑market platform, building tools that turn insight into action. As a Content Marketer you will shape the brand’s voice, create engaging stories around real‑world events and help make Bayse a cultural conversation starter.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original content ideas and campaigns that make Bayse relevant and memorable.
• Create sharp, engaging content around sports, entertainment, politics, crypto, social media, pop culture and other trending events.
• Translate prediction‑market concepts into simple, interesting stories for a broad audience.
• Own Bayse’s editorial voice across social media, newsletters, blogs, product communications and community channels.
• Build distinctive content formats, recurring series and creative properties that audiences associate with Bayse.
• Collaborate with designers, videographers, creators and marketers to produce videos, carousels, graphics, memes and explainers.
• Manage Bayse’s social presence on X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Work with influencers and creators to develop authentic, culturally relevant collaborations.

Required profile

• At least four years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, social media or digital marketing.
• Deep curiosity about cultural trends across sports, entertainment, politics and internet culture.
• Strong cultural instincts and the ability to find interesting angles in ordinary announcements.
• Excellent writing skills with a clear, thoughtful and platform‑adapted voice.
• Data‑driven mindset: uses metrics to evaluate and improve content performance.
• Proactive ownership, able to take ideas from concept to fully executed campaigns.
