Consultant Specialist Physicians – Multiple Specialties (Nigeria)

About the role

Lily Hospitals, a leading private healthcare provider in Nigeria, is expanding its multidisciplinary team. We are seeking experienced Consultant Specialists across several medical disciplines to deliver patient‑centered, technology‑driven care in our hospitals located in Port Harcourt, Warri, Benin City and Ughelli.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultations, diagnosis, treatment and management for patients within your specialty.
• Perform specialized procedures and surgeries in accordance with hospital protocols and best practice guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Collaborate with other consultants, medical officers, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff where applicable.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
• Take part in emergency call duties and clinical governance activities.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Fellowship qualification from NPMCN, WACS, WACP or an internationally recognised equivalent.
• Current practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑fellowship experience in a reputable hospital.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex clinical cases within the specialty.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety and ethical practice.
