Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer will ensure that our crypto exchange operates in full compliance with external regulations and internal policies. This role involves advising business units, managing licensing, and acting as the primary compliance liaison for regulators and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with external rules, regulations, and internal policies specific to crypto exchange operations.
• Provide advisory support on compliance matters, including training plans, licensing, regulatory exams, and incident management.
• Serve as the key compliance contact for all business and service units.
• Analyze regulatory trends and assess the impact of new regulations on the organization.
• Review customer communications and correspondence with regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all crypto exchange compliance documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Deliver training on crypto compliance and promote awareness across the company.
• Liaise with local regulators for onsite/offsite reviews, progress reports, and regulatory enquiries.
• Manage ad‑hoc compliance projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of crypto exchange regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience advising on licensing, regulatory examinations, and incident handling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external regulators.
• Proactive approach to monitoring regulatory developments and implementing necessary changes.
