Communications Manager – Marketing & PR

About the role

The Communications Manager will partner with senior leadership to shape and execute marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, lead generation, and customer acquisition for CANAL+ Telecom Nigeria. This role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define marketing objectives and develop comprehensive strategies aligned with business goals.
• Plan, launch, and optimise multi‑channel campaigns to generate leads and retain customers.
• Oversee creation of engaging content for websites, social media, email, and print.
• Manage digital initiatives including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
• Develop and execute public‑relations plans, handle media inquiries and press releases.
• Organise marketing events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Prepare and control marketing budgets, issue tenders, and evaluate service‑provider offers.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and anti‑corruption policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar communications or marketing role.
• Proven track record of driving engagement and conversion.
• Analytical, customer‑oriented and results‑driven mindset.
• Strong team‑leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and deliver on time.
