Commercial Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead business development, revenue growth and partnership initiatives for our healthcare-focused operations in Awka, Nigeria. The role combines strategic planning, marketing leadership and sales performance management to drive market share and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, market share and achieve commercial targets.
• Lead marketing and customer acquisition programmes, identifying new market opportunities.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals, HMOs, corporate organisations and medical practitioners.
• Design sales plans, monitor KPIs, analyse performance and implement corrective actions.
• Gather market intelligence, track competitor activity and strengthen brand positioning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience in a customer‑focused commercial environment, preferably healthcare, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, medical services or insurance.
• Proven track record in business growth, corporate partnerships and revenue generation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Results‑oriented, innovative and proactive work approach.

What we offer

• Competitive salary: NGN 900,000 – 1,200,000 per month (gross).
• Annual gross remuneration between NGN 8,000,000 – 12,000,000.
• Performance‑based bonus linked to commercial and business targets.
