Collections Agent

About the role

Renmoney is seeking a proactive Collections Agent to join its hybrid‑work Collections department. You will be responsible for contacting borrowers, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring a positive experience while safeguarding the company’s cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out to customers via phone, email or in‑person to follow up on overdue accounts.
• Negotiate and document repayment arrangements that suit both the customer and Renmoney.
• Educate borrowers on their account status and available payment options.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions, agreements and follow‑up actions in the company’s systems.
• Provide courteous service while handling sensitive financial matters and objections.
• Collaborate with the Collections team to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquency.
• Report progress to management and escalate critical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant collections laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in collections, customer service or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and professional objection handling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM systems.
