CO₂ Plant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a CO₂ Plant Manager to lead the carbon capture and processing operations at our manufacturing facility in Edo State, Nigeria. The role oversees the entire CO₂ production line, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the CO₂ plant, monitoring purification, liquefaction, storage and filling processes.
• Optimize plant output, energy consumption and overall operational efficiency.
• Enforce HSE standards, conduct safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of compressors, pumps, refrigeration systems, storage tanks, piping and filling equipment.
• Ensure product meets food‑grade (ISBT) specifications through laboratory testing, calibration and quality documentation.
• Supervise plant operators and technicians, handle training, performance evaluations and workforce planning.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies such as SON and NAFDAC.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in industrial gas or CO₂ plant operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of carbon capture, purification and liquefaction processes.
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage maintenance programs and drive continuous improvement.
