Clinical Biologist – Research & Patient Care

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Biologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Naxawellness Clinic. In this role you will bridge scientific research with patient care, helping to develop evidence‑based treatment strategies that integrate modern science with African herbal medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret laboratory investigations.
• Conduct scientific literature reviews and translate findings into clinical practice.
• Support practitioners with root‑cause analysis and case discussions.
• Assist in developing and reviewing treatment protocols.
• Research herbs, nutrients, and emerging evidence in functional and integrative medicine.
• Contribute to clinical documentation, patient education, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Support product research and protocol development as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology, Human Biology, Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent scientific research and writing skills.
• Interest in preventive, functional, or integrative healthcare.
• Curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn.
• Previous clinical or research experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
