Civil Engineer

About the role

The Civil Engineer will lead the civil and structural aspects of the IMA Gas Field Development Project, ensuring that all designs, drawings and construction activities meet company standards, safety and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve civil designs, shop drawings, early‑works drawings, MTOs and technical studies.
• Validate detailed engineering deliverables for roads, excavation, jetty assessment, on‑shore plant infrastructure and buildings.
• Analyse EPC contractor proposals for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Coordinate trades and disciplines to optimise design solutions.
• Supervise site construction activities such as foundations, concrete pipe sleepers, pipe supports, plant roads, shore protection and dredging.
• Approve inspection requests at each construction milestone and ensure proper as‑built documentation.
• Participate in project reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, 3D model) and audits across project phases.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month relevant civil engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural design standards.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage interface issues.
• Attention to detail for quality control and compliance.
