Civil Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Seal Energy is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to lead and manage construction projects across Nigeria. The role involves overseeing all phases from design through to completion, ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise construction projects from conception to handover.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, cost estimates, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Ensure projects meet engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor budgets, resource utilization, and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain quality control throughout all construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams.
• Professional certification or registration is an advantage.
