Christian Medical Doctor – Obstetrics & Gynecology

About the role

Christian Miracle Hospital, a private maternity and obstetrics‑gynecology centre in Enugu, seeks a compassionate Christian Medical Doctor to provide comprehensive obstetric, gynecological and general medical care, including emergency deliveries and surgeries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations, manage antenatal and fertility clinics.
• Perform or assist in obstetric and gynecological surgeries such as Caesarean sections, fibroid removal, ovarian cystectomy, and appendectomies.
• Lead daily ward rounds for maternity, surgical and general patients, overseeing pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Provide 24/7 on‑site emergency support during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain accurate medical records, participate in clinical audits and collaborate with nursing and laboratory teams.
• Educate patients on procedures, treatments and health promotion.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from an accredited institution.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and a current practicing licence.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Born‑again Christian who embodies Christ‑like compassion in patient care.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Required skills

• Obstetric surgery (including Caesarean section).
• Gynecological surgery (fibroid, ovarian cyst, etc.).
• General surgical procedures such as appendectomy.
• Clinical patient management and ward round leadership.
• Interpretation of laboratory investigations.
