Chief Financial Officer

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of Rekrut Consulting, a company operating in the mining, energy and metals sector. The CFO will drive financial planning, risk management and profitability while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead long‑term financial planning, forecasting and budgeting across all business units.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management and the Board.
• Oversee financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity and banking relationships.
• Handle foreign‑exchange exposure related to imported raw materials.
• Identify and mitigate financial, operational and market risks.
• Drive cost‑optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Support pricing strategies and capital investment decisions.
• Monitor cost structures for raw materials, production and logistics.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Engage with auditors, regulators, banks, investors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably at executive level.
• University degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
