Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Executive Leadership

About the role

Renmoney, a leading Nigerian financial institution, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Committee. The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board, investors and regulators, safeguarding financial strength while driving sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board and Executive Committee.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management across the organisation.
• Develop and execute funding, capital and liquidity strategies, ensuring adequate capital buffers.
• Oversee Treasury, Tax, Procurement, Investor Relations, Regulatory Reporting and Financial Operations.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team that delivers timely insights and robust governance.
• Establish profitability and return‑on‑capital metrics for products, channels and customer segments.

Required profile

• Executive‑level qualification with at least 15 years (180 months) of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in senior finance leadership within the financial services or technology sector.
• Demonstrated ability to influence board‑level decisions and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on value creation and risk management.
