Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Agriculture Tech

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead Troven Solution Services Ltd, a start‑up operating in the agriculture, fishing and forestry sector, to build and scale a technology‑driven farming and e‑commerce business. The role combines strategic vision, operational execution and stakeholder management to create a high‑performance organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the operating model, covering procurement, supplier management, inventory, fulfilment, logistics, customer service, payments and technology.
• Build the leadership team, define organisational structure, set KPIs and nurture a high‑performance culture.
• Drive commercial and market development, including go‑to‑market strategy, revenue growth, ecosystem partnerships with farmers, suppliers and distributors.
• Oversee operations and supply‑chain functions such as warehousing, logistics, procurement, quality control and delivery.
• Lead technology and e‑commerce platform development, ensuring seamless customer experience and integration of payments, inventory, logistics, CRM and analytics systems.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow, margins and key metrics; support fundraising and investor relations.
• Establish governance, risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Represent the company to investors, board members, partners and the wider industry.

Required profile

• Proven experience as CEO, GM, MD, COO or senior business leader in a start‑up, scale‑up or entrepreneurial environment.
• Track record of building a business or business unit from an early stage.
• Strong commercial, financial and operational acumen.
• Experience in e‑commerce, marketplaces, retail, FMCG, logistics, agriculture or related sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• High ownership, initiative and comfort operating in a resource‑constrained, evolving setting.
