Chartered Accountant (Financial Accounting)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Lagos. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Reconcile bank accounts and oversee general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders when required.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN or ACCA).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
