Chartered Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Sangotedo, Ajah, Lagos. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring compliance, and providing financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and periodic reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and oversee general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and deliver financial analysis for business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and uphold accounting standards.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN or ACCA).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
