Cement Mixer Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking a careful and reliable Cement Mixer Truck Driver to transport ready‑mix cement to construction sites across Nigeria. The role involves safe driving, maintaining the cement drum rotation during transit, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to all road and site safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cement mixer trucks safely and comply with traffic rules.
• Inspect the truck daily (tires, brakes, lights, drum, water system) before use.
• Keep the drum turning while driving to preserve cement quality.
• Confirm load details before leaving the plant.
• Coordinate with site foremen to discharge cement properly.
• Wash the drum after each delivery.
• Report any truck problems or safety issues immediately.
• Maintain a clean and professional truck appearance.
• Record delivery details (volume, time, site) for each trip.

Required profile

• WAEC/NECO certificate.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license (Class C or above).
• Defensive Driving Certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience driving mixer trucks or other heavy vehicles.
• Experience in cement/concrete delivery is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
