About the role

We are seeking a qualified Cath Lab Nurse to join our hospital in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring safety and high‑quality clinical support. The role requires close collaboration with cardiologists, technicians, and support staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory for procedures.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and related interventions.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about pre‑ and post‑procedure care.
• Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and adherence to infection control guidelines.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with 2–4 years of experience working in a Cath Lab or similar cardiac unit.
• Valid nursing license to practice in Nigeria.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
