About the role
The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer payments and maintaining accurate financial records at our Port Harcourt location.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process customer payments accurately using cash, POS, and other approved methods.
- Issue receipts and record transactions appropriately.
- Maintain daily sales and payment records and reconcile cash balances at shift end.
- Report any discrepancies, shortages, or transaction errors promptly.
- Provide polite and professional customer service.
- Keep the cashier workstation clean and organized.
- Follow the establishment’s financial procedures and policies.
Required profile
- Minimum O Level certificate (additional qualifications a plus).
- Previous cashier or cash‑handling experience.
- Good numerical, calculation and record‑keeping skills.
- Honesty, integrity, punctuality and reliability.
