Career Specialist – Job Application Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Career Specialist to join the Professional Branding team at ExcelMindCyber. In this remote, full‑time position you will help cybersecurity students secure jobs by managing their applications, building recruiter relationships, and driving interview opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Submit 15–20 high‑quality job applications daily on behalf of assigned students.
• Tailor resumes to achieve an 85–100% ATS match rate for each posting.
• Research relevant opportunities across LinkedIn, Indeed, company sites, and other platforms.
• Conduct direct outreach to recruiters and hiring managers, maintaining ongoing relationships.
• Secure a minimum of five interviews per month for each student.
• Document all activities, submit weekly performance reports, and meet or exceed KPIs.
• Collaborate with Branding Specialists to align applications with each student’s personal brand.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or career services.
• Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems and best‑practice job application techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
