Business Unit VIC Price & PPM Analyst

About the role

The Business Unit VIC Price & PPM Analyst is responsible for managing price variance reporting, procurement accruals, and financial reconciliation for the BU. You will work closely with finance, procurement, and treasury teams to ensure accurate pricing, FX exposure, and budget alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and analyse price variance reports, identify root causes and drive savings initiatives.
• Process procurement VIC accruals, reversals and monitor one‑off transactions.
• Facilitate supplier reconciliations and validate FX & commodity rates.
• Review weekly and monthly price variance reasonableness and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly price variance commentary for CPM/CatMan.
• Reconcile price data for COGNOS builds and manage finished‑goods FX & excise entries in CTRM.
• Support month‑end closing, pre‑closing routines and WAPT/payables alignment.
• Validate forecast accuracy of consumption volumes and conversion factors.
• Manage FX exposure reporting and coordinate reviews with treasury.
• Validate BU markup accuracy and reconcile ERP vs. Mubex postings.
• Load annual bottom‑up budget into ERP, monitor timeline and ensure alignment with 1YP targets.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general accounting principles.
• Experience with consolidation and reporting tools such as Cognos, TM1 or BI.
• Project management and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Comfort working in an ERP environment, preferably SAP FI/CO and SAP BW.
• Ability to work in a process‑oriented organization.

• SAP R/3 FI/CO module.
