About the role

The Business Operations & Development Manager will lead daily business functions and drive growth initiatives for a construction company in Lagos. This role combines operational oversight with strategic business development to support the company's expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations and office administration.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Develop and implement operational systems, policies, and processes.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate proposal preparation, client follow‑ups, and lead generation activities.
• Prepare management reports and support business growth strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in operations, HR, administration, business development, or a similar role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in recruitment, people management, and business development.
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.
