About the role

The Business Manager will lead daily operations for a logistics company in Lagos, driving growth and ensuring efficient delivery of services. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on management to align resources with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations and ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities to expand the client base.
• Manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, handling negotiations and service delivery standards.
• Supervise and mentor cross‑functional teams, monitoring performance and fostering talent development.
• Streamline workflows and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business strategy, strategic planning, and operational management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and develop talent.
• Strong background in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lagos and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
