Business Development / Sales Manager (BaaS & SaaS)

About the role

Product Studio is a Lagos-based technology studio building and running SaaS products, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), IT operations and security services, and delivering software projects for banks, fintechs and enterprises. This is a priority hire: you will own new business for its BaaS and SaaS offerings, win new clients, find new services to sell to existing clients and sell security products as part of the wider offer.

Key responsibilities

• Win new clients for BaaS and SaaS products (banks, microfinance banks, fintechs, enterprises)
• Build and own your pipeline from first contact to signed contract
• Sell additional services and security products to existing clients
• Work with Engineering and Delivery to scope proposals, pricing and timelines
• Report pipeline, forecast and closed revenue weekly
• Give management feedback on market needs and lost deals

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 2 years selling BaaS, banking technology, fintech infrastructure or enterprise SaaS
• Direct experience selling to banks, microfinance banks or fintechs in Nigeria
• Proven ability to close long-cycle, high-value technical deals
• Existing network of banking and fintech decision-makers
• Experience selling to the CBN-regulated space and understanding regulator and risk team expectations
• Must show hit-or-beat quota in at least 2 of the last 3 years, closed deals of at least N500M each with references, total revenue of the last role, and a pipeline you built yourself
