Business Development Officer – Sales & Market Growth

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships and expanding the client base across both private and public sectors. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the company’s long‑term commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Research and target potential clients, partners and new markets; generate qualified leads and manage the sales conversion process.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and negotiations; prepare proposals, quotations and tender documents.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, providing after‑sales support and ensuring satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis; feed insights into pricing, promotion and product strategies.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets; produce weekly and monthly sales reports and accurate forecasts.
• Negotiate contract terms, ensure compliance with company policies and coordinate payment follow‑up with the Accounts team.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in healthcare, medical equipment or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

What we offer

• Base salary of ₦150,000 per month.
• 1% commission on sales and a float allowance.
• Health insurance and 13th month payment.
