Retail Salesperson

About the role

The Retail Salesperson works full‑time on‑site in Port Harcourt, welcoming customers and guiding them to products that reflect NACK Apparel’s contemporary African style. The role blends customer service, visual merchandising and inventory support to create an inclusive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable items.
• Showcase product features and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Process sales transactions accurately and keep the store clean and organized.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Support promotional activities and in‑store events.
• Track inventory levels on the shop floor and report stock issues.
• Share customer feedback with the team to improve service.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive shopping environment.

Required profile

• Strong product knowledge and genuine interest in contemporary African casual wear.
• Proven retail sales ability, capable of meeting targets and converting inquiries.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills to build lasting relationships.
• Basic numeracy and proficiency with POS systems for cash and card handling.
• Previous retail or apparel experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods in a fast‑paced store.
• Team‑player attitude, reliability and good time‑management.
• Willingness to learn and represent NACK Apparel’s brand story and values.
