Business Development Officer

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a proactive Business Development Officer to expand its footprint in the logistics, transportation and supply‑chain market. You will be responsible for generating new leads, converting prospects into long‑term clients and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across logistics, transportation and supply‑chain sectors.
• Generate leads, nurture prospects and convert them into long‑term contracts.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and service agreements to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals.
• Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage key accounts, maintain regular communication and provide performance updates.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 24 months) in business development, sales or account management within the logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, freight and supply‑chain operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using CRM software for lead and account management.
