Business Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Officer to drive customer acquisition, deposit mobilization and loan generation for TIQPAY LIMITED. The role focuses on expanding our client base in the banking and fintech space while delivering revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase the customer base and revenue.
• Mobilize deposits and generate quality loan opportunities in line with targets.
• Source, onboard and retain customers for the company’s products and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct regular customer visits, presentations and follow‑up engagements.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals and marketing activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to spot growth opportunities.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly business development reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, business events and promotional activities.
• Achieve assigned deposit mobilization, customer acquisition, loan generation and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Banking & Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, banking, fintech or micro‑finance.
• Strong sales, negotiation and customer relationship management abilities.
• Target‑driven, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 250,000 per month.
• Full‑time permanent position based in Abuja, Marina.
