Business Development Manager – Telecom Partnerships

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead strategic partnerships with major telecom operators across Africa, driving revenue growth and market expansion for our digital platform. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and operator senior executives, ensuring long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with operators such as MTN Group, Airtel Africa and other regional groups.
• Lead commercial negotiations, draft partnership agreements, and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Identify new revenue opportunities aligned with operator objectives and design business models to boost subscriber growth, digital service adoption and ARPU.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, coordinating with Product, Finance, Legal and Operations teams.
• Track performance metrics, produce strategic dashboards and report insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in telecom partnerships, key account management or digital services within the telecommunications ecosystem.
• Proven track record working with mobile network operators and negotiating strategic commercial agreements.
• Experience managing digital service deployments, value‑added services or operator‑led digital campaigns.
