Business Development Manager – Pension & Gratuity Solutions

About the role

The Business Development Manager will deliver consultative pension and gratuity solutions to institutional clients, driving voluntary contributions and expanding market share for SIPML across RSA holders and assets under management. The role also supports the broader financial solution objectives of the Stanbic IBTC Group.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored advisory services on pension and gratuity matters for assigned institutions.
• Drive voluntary employee contributions and increase SIPML’s market share.
• Ensure positive client experience through timely resolution of pre‑ and post‑sales issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet the universal financial solution goals of the Stanbic IBTC Group.

Required profile

• First degree in General Social Sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in sales relationship management and leadership.
• At least 5 years experience in client profiling.
• Minimum 3 years experience in sales and relationship management.
• Behavioural competencies: Upholding Standards, Generating Ideas, Interacting with People, Making Decisions, Following Procedures.

• Knowledge of Compliance – Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations
