About the role
Global University Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead international recruitment of medical students for its North American universities. The role is home‑based in Nigeria with travel expenses covered, allowing you to build and manage B2B relationships across multiple countries.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee student recruitment, business development, account management and marketing events for B2B channels.
- Collaborate with Company Directors to design and execute sales and marketing strategies.
- Represent GUS universities in North America and develop agency networks.
- Train education agents, source new agents at fairs, trips and referrals, and expand revenue streams.
- Identify new market opportunities, conduct client research and support potential business partners.
- Deliver workshops, presentations and conferences, including on‑camera appearances.
Required profile
- Proven experience recruiting medical students for higher‑education programmes across several countries.
- Established network of education agencies and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of industry trends to aid strategic planning.
- Track record of generating new revenue and growing existing client relationships.
- Highly motivated, confident presenter and workshop facilitator.
Required skills
- Salesforce or similar database management experience.
