Business Development Manager

About the role

A full-time Business Development Manager position based in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role works with the sales team to develop business plans covering sales, revenue and expense controls, meet agreed targets and promote the organisation's presence, while building and growing its customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business plans covering sales, revenue and expense controls and help obtain profitable results through the sales team
• Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and handle realistic forecasts for services and territory based on historical data, market trends, competition and promotional strategy
• Manage the sales force and sales promotion programmes
• Establish, maintain and expand the customer base and increase business opportunities through various market routes
• Maintain and grow sales of the organisation's services and manage accounts and key accounts

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Marketing, Engineering, Social Sciences or a related discipline
• 5+ years of sales experience in the cleaning or janitorial industry
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to set and achieve goals and good client relationship management skills

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Excel
