Business Development Manager – Hospitality & Restaurant

About the role

We are partnering with a premium restaurant in Ikoyi to hire a Business Development & Marketing Officer who will drive revenue growth, secure strategic partnerships and raise the brand’s profile. The ideal candidate is commercially minded with proven experience in hospitality business development, corporate sales and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue across fine‑dining, private events, corporate catering and strategic partnerships.
• Identify, prospect, negotiate and close high‑value corporate accounts and VIP clientele.
• Conduct cold‑calling, client acquisition and overall business development activities.
• Design and launch digital and offline marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate organisations, event planners and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Monitor market trends, competitor actions and emerging business opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports, performance updates and business development strategies for management.
• Represent the restaurant at networking events, exhibitions and client meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development within hospitality, restaurant, hotel or luxury services.
• Proven track record of securing corporate accounts and closing high‑value deals.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality sales, guest experience and luxury service delivery.
• Experience executing digital and offline marketing initiatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Highly target‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
