Business Development Graduate Trainee

About the role

Wanies Halburt Ltd is hiring a full-time Business Development Graduate Trainee based in Lagos (Marina). The role focuses on generating leads, developing new corporate and enterprise business and converting qualified opportunities into signed contracts, purchase orders, framework agreements and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through industry research, networking, referrals, cold calling, emails, client visits and other sales channels.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate and enterprise market.
• Convert qualified opportunities into signed contracts, purchase orders, framework agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and keep a healthy sales pipeline while achieving monthly targets.
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings, conferences and exhibitions, and deliver sales presentations, pitches and proposals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts, and submit weekly sales activity and pipeline reports.

Required profile

• A minimum of HND in any relevant discipline.
• Ability to generate leads and close B2B deals.
• Self-motivated, confident and able to work independently; able to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
