Business Development Executive – Sustainable Packaging

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth of our eco-friendly paper packaging solutions in the food and beverage sector. Based in Ikoyi, Lagos, you will work on-site to identify new opportunities, manage the sales cycle and build lasting client relationships that support our sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, generate leads and qualify potential customers in the food, beverage and related industries.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, including proposal preparation, presentations and contract negotiations.
• Maintain and expand key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal product and operations teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and provide feedback for product development and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales pipeline.
• Strong understanding of commercial principles such as sales planning, negotiation and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solutions to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in account management and a track record of building long-term client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability and environmentally responsible products.
