Business Development Executive (Remote)

About the role

A fully remote, full-time Business Development Executive is sought to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships and drive revenue growth. The role calls for self-motivation and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, prospecting and networking
• Generate leads and convert them into paying clients
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
• Present, promote and sell products and services to prospective clients
• Develop and execute strategic plans to reach sales targets and grow the customer base
• Analyse the market for trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities
• Prepare and deliver business proposals, pitches and presentations
• Negotiate contracts and close deals
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline and client interactions
• Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts and market insights

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is an advantage
• Reliable laptop, smartphone and stable internet connection

• Strong understanding of sales principles and business development strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet targets with minimal supervision
