Business Development Executive

About the role

Iplanet Information World is hiring a full-time Business Development Executive in Lagos (Marina). The role drives revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expanding the company's customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue and the customer base.
• Research market trends, industry developments and competitor activity to find growth areas.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email outreach, referrals and other strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations promoting the company's products and services.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to meet sales targets and organisational goals.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and business offers tailored to clients' needs.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and business agreements in line with company policy.
• Follow up on leads, proposals and enquiries to turn prospects into long-term customers.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of SSCE.
• Previous experience in sales or marketing is an added advantage; no experience required.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
